The Association of Free Community Papers (AFCP) honored El Clasificado and its online publication, Al Borde, with 6 awards at its Annual Awards Competition celebrated in Tucson, Arizona.

El Clasificado was awarded with a first place for “Best Internet Advertising”, second places for “Best Sales Presentation” and “Best Agency Ad” and a third place for “Community Service-Graphics”.

The entertainment online publication Al Borde won first place, for five years in a row, for “Best Original Artwork” and second place for “Best Internet Home Page”.

The Association of Free Community Papers (AFCP) represents publishers of more than 3,000 free-circulation community papers, reaching an average of 45 million homes weekly. The combined circulation of all free papers is larger than all daily newspapers in the United States. The AFCP Conference took place in Tucson, Arizona from April 22nd to April 24th, 2010.
